He has held senior leadership positions at Jouveinal, Parke-Davis, Pfizer, and Danone, where he made significant contributions to drug and probiotic development projects aimed at improving digestive well-being and treating visceral pain.
In his roles, Laurent has led numerous R&D programs focused on evaluating the efficacy of new compounds for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). His innovative work has resulted in six co-invented patents. Furthermore, he is a prolific author, with 41 research articles and six book chapters to his name.
